Good Chemistry
October 10, 2025
Cooley Photography Center
2nd Flood
The Photography and Imaging Department proudly presents Good Chemistry, recent work by students in the Photographic Processes class. Please join us for the opening on Friday, October 10 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. on the second floor of the Cooley Photography Center.
In the Photographic Processes course, students explore various approaches in analog photography. The students not only created photographs using film cameras, but also made prints using cameraless processes such as chemigrams, which uses only darkroom chemicals, and Rayograms, contact prints using exposed photographic paper. In an age of digital image making, students enjoyed the quiet solitude of the darkroom and the hands-on approach to photography.
Exhibiting students include: Hannah Cribbs, Brenda Diaz, Tobias Donofrio, Lyra Kolesar, Jade Zhang and Luka Zukhubaia.
Faculty contact: Selina Román (she/her), Faculty, Photography and Imaging Department Coordinator sroman@c.ringling.edu
