From walls heavily charged with paintings, as in the French Salons, to the empty white cube: how does the environment affect the artwork? The white cube limits certain contemporary works of art from highlighting their greatest potential. Could a black cube be the answer for some of them? Inside the Black Cube brings together performance, video, audio, photos, and installations in a new format—one where the sanctity of a church and the formality of a courtroom are no longer needed.
