7 Sorrows

7 Sorrows is an immersive, walkthrough installation built around seven short films. Each film takes one of the seven modern sorrows that shape women’s lives – loss, disaster, fear, poverty, abuse, sacrifice, and violence – and responds through dance, abstraction, archive, and immersion. The installation’s task is to translate each one into a space of its own, so that the body of the visitor walks the emotional distance the films traverse on screen.
